
Lexington is located in Lexington-Fayette Urban County, Kentucky and is the second largest city in the state and 67th largest in the country. The population as of 2007 was over 279,000 residents and is known as the “Thoroughbred City” and the “Horse Capital of the World” as well as the heart of the Bluegrass region.
